ABOUT US

Parents told us that they wanted information on raising teens. While there is much information and support for parents of toddlers and young children, resources for parents of teens are not as easy to find.

ParentLinkRI.org connects Rhode Island parents of pre-teens and teens with classes, workshops, activities, and services in their area. Launched in August of 2003, the website is also a great resource for providers.

ParentLinkRI.org is a key part of the Be There for Teens campaign, a long-term effort to promote youth success and positive relationships between adults and youth.

The ParentLinkRI.org website is a joint effort with state agencies and community-based non-profit organizations to strengthen family communication and promote youth success.

Funding is provided by the Rhode Island Department of Health (www.healthri.org) and the Rhode Island Department of Education (www.ridoe.net).
